Modern Water Fog Cooling System for Dairy Farms
A water fog cooling system is an effective technology used to protect cattle from heat stress, particularly during hot and humid weather. Cattle are highly sensitive to excessive heat, and prolonged exposure to high temperatures can negatively affect their health, feed intake, milk production, reproduction, and overall productivity. A fog cooling system helps maintain a comfortable environment by releasing very fine water droplets into the air, which evaporate and reduce the surrounding temperature. The system generally consists of a water source, pump, high-pressure pipes, and specially designed fogging nozzles. These nozzles convert water into a fine mist containing extremely small droplets. When the mist enters the warm air, the droplets absorb heat and evaporate. This evaporation process lowers the temperature around the cattle and provides a cooling effect. The system can be installed inside cattle sheds, near feeding areas, or in other locations where cattle spend significant amo...
